All About Me

Mommy thought we should have a page just to talk about all the fun stuff about me and tell you about my interests. 

Although I do have a serious condition I am first and foremost a little boy with my own little personality and likes and dislikes

¨ I am a very loving little boy and LOVE to cuddle!  I hate being cold so cuddling up with mommy and a nice warm blanket keeps me very content.

¨ I really love to be talked to and read to!  I just sit contently and watch.

¨ My favorite time of day is bath time, I could stay in the water ALL day! 

¨ I get most of my nutrition through my feeding tube so I don’t have to taste any yucky foods. Right now I am on something called the ketogenic diet. Mom measures out my special mix of foods in grams, this helps my body to burn fat instead of glucose for energy and helps with my seizures.

¨ I enjoy using my switch toys, I get very proud of myself when I can make them work all by myself.

¨ My big sister is really good at getting me to smile, she has a special way of talking to me that I really like.

¨ I like watching my brother and sister’s run around and act crazy, they get pretty wild sometimes.

¨ I like to swing in my special outside swing, it’s really hot here in AZ so daddy put up a canopy over my swing and misters so I don’t get too warm.

¨ Although my smiles are far and few between, Mommy can still tell when I’m happy because she says that my eyes smile.  I know how much everyone loves my smile so I save it for special days, that way they appreciate them even more!

¨ I love to listen to music and dance around the house with Mommy and my big sister Paige.

¨ I love looking at lights, especially when they twinkle.

¨ My favorite colors are orange, yellow and red.

¨ My favorite movies are Baby Einstein, Babyscapes and Ice Age.

¨ I really like to listen to books on tape, Daddy found me a bear that becomes a speaker and the feet light up with music or voices, many of my special friends and family read stories to me on a recorder and daddy put them onto my bear.

¨ I REALLY hate the wind and snow, I think I’m going to enjoy sunny Tucson, it is so much warmer and less windy than Montana.

¨ Even though I can’t talk with words I have ways of letting people know what I want and my family is getting better at understanding me.  I have different sounds and squeals that I use to tell what I want or if I’m happy or mad.
